Green manures are crops designed to be ploughed into the soil to increase fertility. There are many advantages to growing green manures. Among other things, it prepares new ground. Cultivated cyclically, green manure rests, enriches and purifies the soil. Established in autumn, they protect the soil from erosion and leaching, and preserve its structure.
